The two 2nd Classes based their assembly on being grateful and showing gratitude. They told us about all the things in their lives that they are grateful for like family, friends and food. They also spoke about ways we can all show gratitude : simple things like smiling, giving a hug, sharing and saying thanks. Gratitude is attitude. Let’s Spread the word !
3rd Class shared all they had learnt about Thanksgiving for their assembly theme. They looked at the history of the first Thanksgiving Dinner. They explored how the sentiments of being thankful for what we have and who we have in our lives remain the same today as they were at the First Thanksgiving.
