5th Class had the opportunity to attend a talk and reading by Irish author Ellen Ryan at Loughboy Library. Ellen shared insights from her books Gods Don’t Cry: Unsung Stories of Ireland’s Forgotten Immortals and Girls Who Slay Monsters: Daring Tales of Ireland’s Forgotten Goddesses, introducing pupils to powerful stories from Irish mythology.
The visit was an engaging and inspiring experience that brought Ireland’s lesser-known myths and legends to life for the students.
