Pupils and staff at Kilkenny School Project took part in Lots of Socks, Down Syndrome Ireland’s fundraising campaign in celebration of World Down Syndrome Day.
Everyone was encouraged to wear their brightest, boldest and most colourful socks to school. The day was a wonderful opportunity to celebrate diversity, inclusion and the unique qualities that make each of us special.
Throughout the day, pupils learned about the importance of acceptance, respect and belonging, while also supporting the fantastic work of Down Syndrome Ireland. The colourful socks around the school sparked lots of conversations and helped raise awareness in a fun and positive way.
A huge thank you to all of our pupils, families and staff for supporting this important campaign. We were delighted to take part and celebrate World Down Syndrome Day together as a school community.
Take a look at some of our wonderful socks below! 🧦🌈
